Hello thanks for coming by this question. I really need to know a few things. I will try to keep my questions organized as possible. I have a 2008 dodge grand caravan swivel n go with the 4.0 liter (I don’t know if you need this info or not, but I thought I would put it in here anyway.)
Q1. Can I tow a camping trailer that is 26feet in length and weighs about 7500lbs with my grand caravan? (that is with all the luggage and everything in it.)
Q2. If I can tow that, will I be risking ruining something in my van?
I think those are my questions for now, now below what I am typing, I need your opinions.
1. Would you get a $10,900.00 camping trailer? (assuming I can tow it with my grand caravan)
2. Should I get the $10,900.00 camping trailer and buy a 1999 Ford F-150 for $4,000.00? (this option is if I can’t tow with my grand caravan.)
3. Should I get a 2007 dodge ram 3500 that comes with a fifth wheel camper for $38,000.00?
More things: Sorry this is a long question, but what is the best deal/what do you think I should do? If I can tow with my van, I for sure will get just the trailer. If I can’t tow with my van, I don’t know what the better deal is between the ford and the trailer or the dodge that comes with a trailer.
CLOSING: Thanks so much for those of you who have read all of this, I’m just really unsure. I would love some nice answers that will help me, maybe some more information that you guys would suggest that I should know, and links to things that might help me would be amazing. I will add details if I need to/think of anything else.
Oh and by the way, my van, the ford pickup, and the dodge ram pickup all have automatic transmissions if that matters. Thank you!
I am also looking and trying to keep all expenses under $20,000.00, but if the dodge ram and camping trailer is a good deal, I can make exceptions for that.
One answer asked how far I plan on traveling. Well, the trip I have planned for this summer is about from Illinois to South Dakota and back. And yes, I kind of thought that the dodge 3500 combo would be the best choice, but I would like to stay cheaper if I can help it. Thank you both for answering!

I have watched some video clips on YouTube, Turkish Travel.
But I didn’t see any camper vans of any kind.
Do they have camping sites in Turkey?
Motorhomes?
Campervans?
I hate staying at hotels, I much prefer the camping holiday.
What about Bulgaria?
Is that a better place to go camping?
Please Help!
I am a Naturist too!
We plan to sail from Venice to Corfu or Igoumenitsa 29th of this month.
Any links to ferry companies to travel with van on an open camping deck?
What is the most interesting route from Igoumenitsa towards Thessaloniki; we would like to see Delphi and Meteroa … mount Olympus maybe?
Appreciate your help.
Regards
Guido

We would like to take our motorhome to Wyoming this Aug. I have heard that gas stations are few and far between, as are the campgrounds. Is there any particular section of the state that such as Cook county( i.e. southeast part) where we will not run into the problem of no fuel?
I’m interested in taking an extended (months long) trip around the US without returning home until the end. Not interested in a motor home- been there and done that- but want to bring a large quantity of clothes of all types, shorts, suits, etc. Daily travel will be generally short, less than 100 miles. Will usually stay in hotels/motels but also want to bring a camp stove, cooler, tent and related gear. There will be two people traveling. I’ve looked at vans, SUVs, minivans, and sedans without reaching a conclusion. Anyone done this? Any suggestions?
