I’m writing this to email my old English teacher.

Hi Sir, How are you? How has your holiday been? It was good to meet you when I turned up in the summer. Apparently the school has been shut due to the overwhelming flood in Bangkok. So now you’ve got ur holiday lengthened then. Good for you, isn’t it? I’m sure the whole country now struggles with this disaster. I hope things will get better as time flies by, with the water receding to the sea at some point. By the way, I was really impressed with seeing the pictures of me when I won the writing contest ages ago on your facebook.
I can’t remember anything in school at the time. I can’t even remember what I wrote. All the same, Thank you so much for reminding me of my past achievement.
I am on halfterm holidays this week. I haven’t been up to much other than drinking so much while camping in a camper van with my English friends around the English countryside of Suffolk. This is what Britons like to do apart from clubbing. haha. I have to crack on with a sheer amount of prep over the holidays now as I’ve got school next week.
Have a good one sir !

How do you feel about this as a reflection of Christianity?

A San Antonio pastor and an employee of his Christian boot camp were arrested Friday on aggravated assault charges, accused of dragging a girl behind a van after she failed to keep up during a running exercise.
Investigators with the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office arrested Charles E. Flowers, 46, shortly before noon at the Faith Outreach Center in northwest San Antonio, said Brad E. Bailey, a spokesman for the Schertz Police Department.
Bailey said boot camp trainer Stephanie Bassitt, 20, was later arrested without incident at her home in Kirby.

Girl alleges second assault
Authorities said both Flowers and Bassitt restrained the girl June 12, tying her to the back of a van with a piece of rope before dragging her on her stomach at the Love Demonstrated Ministries’ boot camp in Banquete, about 10 miles west of Corpus Christi.

Was this wrong of my mom to do?

Posted: January 23rd, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: Q & A | Tags: , | 9 Comments »

My mom, husband, brother, sister, a friend of my sister’s were sitting in the van and we were actually gone camping. My mom just randomly throws her shirt off and she puts on another one. Then I give her “the mad look” and she says “hey its family.” Was this wrong of her to do? Now I am also concerned because she used to change her clothes in front of me and my siblings even till today.
yes, it was my husband and also my sister’s friend. other than that my brother and sister would be alright but the other two were also there.

How risky would it be to buy this car?

This is one of the cars I’ve been looking at:

I like camping vans. They’re nice and spacy, and fun to travel in.

My mom is concerned about me getting this though, even though I’d pay for it with my own money. She says that buying old cars is way more expensive than buying new cars because of all the repairs you’d have to go through.

The thing is, I love old cars, and I really want this. Would it be a bad idea to buy it? I hate shiny new cars…
My mom is NOT DUMB, and she’s not worried about me having sex in the back of a car. Grow up.

What cars work best for this area?

Posted: October 25th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Q & A | Tags: , , , , | 2 Comments »

After college, I want to move way out west in the mountains. I have some family who lives there and I fall in love with it all over again every time I visit.

Where I come from almost everyone had either a pickup truck or a station wagon, because there was a lot of farm land and all. I guess it really depends on where you live and what you need the car for. What kinds of cars work best in the mountains and the desert? I’m looking into buying a car now and I want to be prepared.

I’ll most likely be carrying around a lot of things (such as guitars and other random yet large items). Would camping vans work? Plus I’ll be taking a lot of road trips cross-country.

Thanks.
