I have a few questions about camping in Iceland?

Posted: September 15th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Q & A | Tags: , , , | 1 Comment »

1. How much would plane tickets from Canada (Nova Scotia, to be specific) be?

2. Is there any possible way I would be able to rent a van like this -

when I get there? Where would I do this, and how much would it cost?

3. What specific places should I visit?

4. How much would living (food, washing clothes, gas) cost for 2 months? We’ll be sleeping in the van so hotels aren’t a problem.

I need to know how to pack for a camping trip, avoid a guy, and survive?

Okay so, my parents a camping buddies with this kid Matt’s parents. Matt and I are the same age and he really likes me. I just really don’t like him. I mean I do as a friend, but he likes me so much I don’t want to be his friend! I don’t want to be mean, but I don’t want to give him the wrong idea by being nice! We have to spend the weekend together! Up in the mountains. Far from the cell towers! Also, I need to know what to pack for the camping trip its four days long, and here’s what I have so far:
Hair: Cute little clips, headbands, hair ties, and brush.

Head: Sunglasses, lip gloss, chapstick, and sunblock.

Jewelry: Necklaces, bracelets, and earrings

Tops: Tank tops, jean jacket, t-shirts, and a long sleeve shirt.

Bottoms: Cute pajama bottoms, capris, shorts, jeans, and a skort.

Swimwear: One piece for lake, big white t-shirt, red polka dot swimsuit, Tinkerbell towel, and bath towel.

Footwear: Flip flops, Vans, tennis shoes, and watershoes.

Other: Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS games, cell phone, Tinkerbell chair, deodorant, lotion, Dial L for Loser(my book), three DVDs, sleeping bag, toothbrush, toothpaste, keychain flashlight, and Tinkerbell bag.
Is that enough? What did I forget???? And for surviving, how do I survive with an obsessive guy and no cell phone reception, so I can’t have conferences over the phone with my friends?

www.gingerwadsworth.com Imagine a US president on a camping trip. It seems unlikely today, but in May 1903 President Theodore Roosevelt dismissed his Secret Service men and sent away reporters and dignitaries to go camping with John Muir, the world-famous naturalist. Setting aside new national parks and monuments became one of the cornerstones of Roosevelt’s presidency and was a direct result of this camping trip. http
