Why so much fuss about Arsenal taking no shots at Nou Camp?

Are you all so new to football that you didn’t know Arsenal don’t take shots they always try to pass it into the net?

To take a shot would have been to go against Wenger’s philosophy. His players respect that, that’s why Van Persie had to hit the showers the moment he attempted a shot.
who am I blaming Wanker?

I have a few questions about camping in Iceland?

Posted: September 15th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Q & A | Tags: , , , | 1 Comment »

1. How much would plane tickets from Canada (Nova Scotia, to be specific) be?

2. Is there any possible way I would be able to rent a van like this -

http://www.ronsaari.com/stockImages/cars/HippieVan.jpg.jpg

when I get there? Where would I do this, and how much would it cost?

3. What specific places should I visit?

4. How much would living (food, washing clothes, gas) cost for 2 months? We’ll be sleeping in the van so hotels aren’t a problem.

Was the ref unfair? In my opinion, he definitely was unfair, he should have thought twice before he blew the whistle, but Van Persie is taking the blame for the FANS and ofc he is blowing the ref out of proportion. He is calling the ref a joke and blaming the loss on the ref, the whole squad was blaming the referee. Its like Arsenal or any other team that faces Barcelona can’t admit they lost unless they lose crushingly like last year where Messi scored 4, no one said nothing about the referees, but when Barcelona win a tight game, everyone blames the ref. How about that disallowed goal Messi had in the first leg? Even you Arsenal fans admitted it…yet we’re not complaining. Don’t get me started on the goal that Bojan scored that would have sent Barcelona to the CL final last year…but I didn’t say anything…I accepted the loss and moved on with my life :D

Its quite funny, because Robin Van Persie played in South Africa, not once did I hear him complain about vuvuzelas, but the one time he plays at Camp Nou, he blames the fans for being “too loud” and not being able to hear the ref because of the fans. He should blame himself for not being a productive bystander yesterday. A great striker like RVP should be able to shoot the ball in the 55 minutes he played…but oh well, I wish Arsenal played with more fire yesterday, it was only a decent game, not a great game, but it was suspensful.

FQ: How many goals will Van Persie score this season?
oh yeah, professional footballers should definitely be able to focus on the game itself rather than being distracted by the fans, just saying. Vuvuzelas are understandable, but RVP has been to Anfield, that place is just as loud or louder than Camp Nou.
@Dubya: oh yeah, that’s true…
…but still, its quite annoying when we win a tight game, its automatically a UEFA conspiracy…

There are sound ordinances, but what about smoke pollution?

Posted: April 22nd, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Q & A | Tags: , , , , , | 9 Comments »

Can I report my neighbor’s homeless friends (who camp out in their van on the neighbors driveway) for smoking constantly so close to our bedroom window? Is there any law, disturbance of the peace, pollution, or other that makes this illegal? Can I sue? I don’t want to be mean, but the health of my family is seriously at stake.

When people in jolly ole England talk about eating beans on toast, do they just mean for real beans on toast?

I mean, is it like Van Camp’s pork and beans or refried beans, or green beans or what the hell is it?

Looking for information about the Flying Dutchman Ice Boat Designed and built by J.Camp & Douglas Van Dyke?

Posted: January 12th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Q & A | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , | 1 Comment »

This Iceboat was a 40 foot boat that won the coveted “Herst Trophy twiice: 1920 and 1032 also setting a world speed record of 128 mph. The Van Dykes sailed the boat on Pine Lake (WI) in 1926 and on Oconomowoc Lake where they lived. They also won the Great Lakes Novice championship in 1946, Van Dyke was the Open Champ in 1951 and American Champ in1954. I would be very interested in any additional info and pictures of the boat.
