What’s wrong with my finger?
Posted: December 10th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Q & A | Tags: finger, What's, wrong | 1 Comment »On may 30th on the way to a camping trip, the van I was traveling in came to a abrupt stop and caused the headstock of my friend’s guitar to smash my hand (ring finger). there were 2 small scratches on my fingers, one on my ring finger, which bled a little, and another on my pointer finger. The ring finger hurt the most, especially around the knuckle. I wasn’t too worried about it at the time, but now my finger still hurts and feels a little swollen. Is this normal, or should I see a doctor?
I also can’t bend it all of the way without discomfort in my knuckle.
if it’s really red and swollen then the cut might be infected. but if it’s just swollen it’s probably sprained. there’s nothing a dr. can do about a sprain. I would suggest you take aleive or ibuprophen. not tylenol cause it doesn’t have an anti-inflamatoryin it and you need that to take the swelling down.
