My Family is looking into getting a new car that sits 7 or 6 comfortably, ideas?.?

We have a Honda mini van now, and we are looking for a new car with a 5 star crash test rating, seats 7, and is not a mini van! I would also like it to get a lot of miles per gallon, and has been known to be a good hardy car because we do a lot of driving and camping and own 3 dogs. We were looking into a Honda again because we like the way the cars run, and don’t brake down often. any ideas? Thanks!

    Dodge Grand Caravan?

7 seats, big trunk space, good interior. Its a little on the pricier side, but its worth it.

Try the new Ford 2011 Expeditions. They are really luxurious, seat 8, but cost somewhere around the $50,000. What’s really neat is if you don’t have all of your crew with you, you can fold down the back 3 seats. I believe they still have DVD players in them, as well. It’s really your call though, based on your budget.

    2011 Chevrolet Traverse.

Much better warranty than Honda. 5 year / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. 5 year / 100,000 mile roadside assistance

Seats between 7 to 8 passengers depending on the model

    5 star crash rating

On Star which Honda or many other manufactures offer nothing even close, free for the first year

Can be ordered in either all wheel drive or front wheel drive

24 MPG highway, not bad for an 8 passenger vehicle

    Standard stability control

Even the base LS model comes nicely equipped.

Charlie, Kevin and Mad Jack have no idea what their talking about.

Expedition is a gas guzzler, you can’t see out the back of Traverse, and Grand Caravan got a 20/100 from Consumer Reports.

If you want a comfortable third row than a Toyota Sequoia is a good car. It gets an average of 16mpg which is great for a vehicle its size.
