Do American women have a harder time leaving their pets in a kennel than leaving their kids in daycare?

This is a woman who has no problem leaving her kids in daycare. We all rode in the same van and 2 people had allergy fits because she didn’t have “the heart to leave them” in a kennel.
Yes, it’s pathetic.
What about men who leave their kids at home or in a daycare? Or worse, abandon their kids altogether.
Then there are some men who are puppy abusers, who abandon their dogs too. Its more rare to hear of women doing this.
I’m not sure I would attach nationality or gender to this. Pets are very honored parts of the family, and because they can’t speak or cry or yell, we tend to think they are sad without us. We can see that a child often thrives by being in daycare, and we can turn our back to the fact that the child might be better off in our care. A baby tells you if he’s unhappy, so everything must be just fine. People make dogs and cats out to be human, in their own heads, and I am a pet lover so I do the same thing. However, I wouldn’t subject my animals to a long car trip with a lot of other people. I really do think the loving thing to do is to allow them to keep their same routine in a good kennel. Pet lovers assume that their pets will come home with Kennel Cough or fleas, or bad habits, and that does happen sometimes.
In the end, you are probably pretty correct in your questioning.
The wife was very insensitive to the others, especially those w/allergies! Kennels can be traumatic for pets, but two to three days isn’t going to kill them. Daycare is good for children if it’s a good one. Did the kids get to go camping as well?
Well is that a stay at home mother ? Is that a woman who works but the family does not need the money and she spends it on herself ? Is she a woman who works but the family needs the money to pay the bills ?
Some people consider themselves ‘dog lovers’ and can’t stand to leave their dogs in a strange place.
However, I think that’s crazy. A dog is a dog. A child is obviously much more important.
It’s crazy how much people love filthy animals like dogs and cats.
Day care is like giving your kids up for adoption half of their childhood.
Why let strangers raise your children? Are we saying we don’t know how?
A lot of children hate daycare, like I did, but no asked me if I wanted to go or not. I had no choice.
One woman’s actions make up the actions or opinions of all American women? Wow, thats a jump.
Do I hate putting my dog in a kennel? Yes, I do. But I’ve done it when necessary. I’m sure, if and when I have kids, I’ll hate putting them in day care or leaving them in general. But it’ll be necessary. People hate being parted with what they love, but that doesn’t mean they won’t do it if need be. Nor does it mean that a mother is more upset about the dog than the kids.
Because in a daycare the kid isn’t locked up in a cage, only allowed out several times a day to use the bathroom and run around.
She was very inconsiderate. A kennel is better than dragging them to a campground where they might have to be left in the car because they aren’t allowed in the park. I don’t understand people who seem to have the need to bring their animals everywhere. I’m sure it was not at all fun for the people with the allergies. She should have stayed home.
