Are you there, Marta?
@Bighoff123 Mountain Safety Programs Specialists provide Search and Rescue and Avalanche Safety services to visitors who want to experience our Mountain National Parks. You can find a wealth of information on these pages: parksmountainsafety.ca Thanks for your interest.
I cannot find any information on your Search and Rescue Specalists, yet I have seen a video on it.

Thank you for your inquiry. Have a look at our website pc.gc.ca. From the homepage, select Jobs at Parks Canada from the left menu, and Student Employment. Good luck!
I realize this isn’t the best place to ask a question but I was wondering about summer/student employment. I’m a Canadian citizen but have always lived in Ohio and was wanting to work in a Canadian park this summer. Is this possible and if so what is the best way of going about it?
@Georectified
For many positions recruitment is not an issue. However, it can be difficult to recruit for some jobs depending on the type of job and considering our rural locations for most national parks and national historic sites. As well, the Agency will be facing significant increase in terms of retirements. Therefore, renewal is one of Parks Canada’s priorities.
Interesting insights in there. Videos like these help develop more knowledge on environment and conservation….as yesterday was World Environment day….it’s important more and more people know about it and such videos are crucial…
Has recuitment been a challenge?
