Take the long way home- The International Ocean Breeze curves are beautiful, but they’re not just for looks: the aircraft-industry born, aerodynamically-shaped exterior design lowers wind resistance — requiring less horsepower and approximately 20% less fuel than conventional box trailers. Even the wide picture windows at each end of the International are curved. Monocoque construction, lightweight materials, and a low center of gravity make towing these Airstreams an experience unlike any other travel trailer on the road. The exterior may be curvy, but we never try to cut any corners. No effort has been spared to create a living space that lets you entertain in style, relax in comfort, and stay on the road for as long as you want to. Like other Airstream Travel Trailers, the Ocean Breeze is self-sufficient. Its holding tanks, water heater, and furnace are seamlessly integrated into the body of the trailer, to maintain an aerodynamic shape. Airstream’s construction process insures easy serviceability for all components. Everything, from furniture to appliances, is brought in through the door for installation. Since Airstreams can easily last for 50 years or more, this feature makes it relatively easy to redesign the interior to fit your changing needs over the years.
I love the interior design. Miles ahead of the competition!
I am just too cheap to pay for all the fuel todrag a camper what I would pay in fuel I could get the room. Plus driving a prius I can get 450 miles down the road 80mph you can’t go that fast consistant with a camper in tow you have to watch it. Towing is dangerous in winds too some of these trucks will drag you around if you get in a cross wind. When I go places it is in the car to the room and very quickly for less. I have a 1970 avion in the yard it is my man cave could take it but why?
@ransombobcat Yes the Serenity is the newest series for Airstream. It is currently available from 16′ to 28′.
I’m guessing the mint green/asian sand interior replaced the ocean breeze. To bad they didnt make it in a 30 ‘.
SOOO PRETTY!
@brandnewmusicvideos It’s nòt an Iglo…. ; )
Nice, ecxept for the “door” shown in 1:46.
When I’m in a hurry at night rushing to the toilet in the dark, I won’t bump in to any door, but go straight through it….. Unless they make it out of sollid plastic lamels,
I’m fearing the worst. ; )
@brandnewmusicvideos i think it allows you to attach propane tanks onto it.
Yes! Much better than those huge motor home buses. Simplicity and functionality No stupid electronics lowering MPG.
Looks really nice and the bright colors really appeal to people who live in congested dirty cities ^_^ a bit too big and expensive for my tastes though ^_^
Excellent presentation and video. The select music is perfect. The quality of an Airstream is second to none. In two years I plan to consider purchase. I’ve had two motorhomes in the past but its nice to have a sep unit like a trailer.
I really want to try traveling like this.
But I am afraid of the stereotype of trailer parks being filled with rednecks and Harley bike engines reving at all hours of the night and day.
as well insulated as it is i don’t think condnsation is coming through the walls. ever hear of that new car smell???? thats probably what your smelling. otherwise airstream would have been bankrupt long ago. but they are a diehard from thr fifties.
There could not be any condenation inside, because of 50mm Insulation. The walls are build in sandwich manner.
See- this airstream is way more zombie resistant than any old pop-up trailer could ever hope to be. Tho you prob wont be going outside to put up the awnings.
I want one or maybe two. That was beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
pretty neat for an old lookin trailer
classic but to much white laminate
Great videos…thank you!
what about condensation in the inside of the trailer as well as within the walls with all that metal?
They have heat and a/c just like a home! Propane for when you don’t have electric hook-up. Insulation is incredible.
hey ….can you go with it somewhere where it’s winter?? i mean..how do you heat the interior…and how good is it at keeping it warn- isolation
thanks
Great job on the video! I own an airstream Ocean Breeze (2007 27FB) and just love it!
